With a bit of luck I moved my studio into a new building in November 2019. The timing of the move was a few weeks before the show. But the lucky part is that I moved the studio to one of the best streets in down town Maastricht: de Rechtstraat. This street is known for it’s many boutique style stores with many handmade pieces and fun stores.
The building itself is a big clash of different construction moments stopped in time. But with a little imagination and its big windows on the first floor it felt like a perfect works space right away. And with even some more imagination and some improvement chores I felt confident to open the doors every weekend in December for the OPEN STUDIO DAYS.
For this occasion I screen printed some “ebby port Christmas-style” sweaters. Also I invited Larissa Stutterheim to join me with her jewelry. It was a month full of excitement, heather’s blowing the fuse box, new customers, old friends, hot glühwein en sweet neighbors. Thank you all for coming!
